HAWAII MARRIAGE LICENSES

In Hawaii, Marriage Licenses are obtained from the Department of Health. Following the marriage, the Department of Health will normally send out a copy of the Marriage Certificate by mail in 60-120 days. If you will need a Marriage Certificate earlier (a Marriage Certificate is required evidence for establishing the existence of a legal marriage for immigration purposes) you will need to let the Department of Health know when you apply for your Marriage License. There is a small additional fee for expediting a Marriage Certificate.
